cpu/mobo/ram upgrade, will windows need to be reinstalled?

I have win 7 home premium 64 bit, not OEM, if I install a new mobo/cpu/ram, will it just boot up happily or do I need to reinstall windows? Thanks

If you are looking to get a complete new motherboard, you are most likely going to have to re-install windows for everything to work properly in the system (drivers and the works). I would not tempt fate with your important files and documents to skip a few steps; backup and a clean install is your best bet.
