Would you guys consider this a good deal for a gaming PC? (pre-built)

I know there are a few benefits to building your own pc, but I'm curious if this seems like a good deal? http://www.frys.com/product/8657000#detailed

I've never bought anything from Fry's but it seems pretty decent to me for the price. I'm just not sure it's worth the risk of buying online from a place I've never bought from.

Solution
No

Hugely unbalanced for gaming, really strong (over the top) CPU paired with a introductory/mid range GPU. A PC with a good i5 and GTX 970 would perform much better in games

Agree with above. Also bear in mind that even if it would be cheaper to buy this than build your own, the parts that they don't tell you the make of (everything but GPU+CPU) could well be, and probably are, incredibly low quality. Even if it cost you more to build your own, it would probably last you a lot longer. And I don't even want to think about pre built system's PSUs *shudders*

Hmm ok thanks for the help guys I'll stay away from this. Yeah I wish I had more confidence in building my own, but I don't really want to build my own especially with around 1200 budget which is a lot to me. I don't want to fuck it up considering it would be the first time I built one. If I had someone I'd probably ask them to help my first time

It really isn't too hard. I was similarly worried about my first build, but I took my time, thought before I did anything and it went smooth as anything. Moreover I was 13. Once you've done your first it'll be easy forever. And you have all of us here to help
