Hello!

My girlfriend and I are both Realtors and we need a better printer. We print a lot of stuff with pictures and a ton of documents. I am pretty tech savvy in general but I don't know much about printers- hence, why I am here. I've filled out the FAQ questions below, if that will help. Thanks in advance!

1. What is your printer budget? What is your country of origin?
- I would like to stay somewhere around $500 or under. We are in the US.

2. Preferred Brand(s)
-I don't really have a preference, although I have always had bad luck with HP products. We have a Canon printer now, but it is extremely costly for ink for what we get per cartridge.

3. Brands Not Preferred (state reason why)
- Like I said, not the biggest fan of HP, but I will look at any serious recommendations.

4. How many pages do you print per day?
-If I have one house to show, maybe 5 or 6 pages or documents; if I have many houses to show, 40+ and that doesn't include my gf who is just as busy as I am. So 10-80 or more.

5. Do you want your printer to perform other functions (scanning / copying / fax)?
- I don't care about fax, but scanning and copying are necessities. Printing from phone would also be cool but is not necessary.

6. Preferred website for printer (eg Newegg / Tiger Direct, etc)?
-I have no preference, although I do have Amazon Prime for shipping.

7. Do you want your printer to have WiFi capability?
- Yes

8. Do you want your printer to have full color or black and white?
-Both, please!

9. How much do you currently spend on ink/toner?
-I think it's around 50 cents a page. Gf usually buys ink.

10. Do you print high quality or high resolution documents or photographs?
-Yes, this is very important.

If you made it through the thread, I appreciate it!

You can always get the Canon MF8530c, it's a color laser printer that's only ~700 and can certainly handle your load with ease. In fact, with that low of load you'll only need to change toner once a month at most, and toner for it is relatively cheap. WiFi print works, network scanner as well. Does images quite well, though it's not a professional photo printer.
