Need help finding a good CPU for this board

I was looking into building a computer and I have decided to get ASUS Z170-A ATX DDR4 Motherboard. I need helping picking out a good CPU that works well with this board.

Any new Skylake CPU would be perfect for this board. For example, any i5 6xxx or i7 6xxx.

Well, it depends on your budget. I find that the GTX 970 is the best value in terms of raw performance.

I don't want to spend more than $200 - $250 on the GPU
