I got this compatabiltity issue on pc part picker with my MSI 970 GAMING ATX AM3+ Motherboard and fx 6300 it said this: Some AMD 970 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Vishera CPUs. do i need to change anything?

The generic warning implies that a compatible CPU is required to flash the BIOS if it's too old (not an issue with the OP's motherboard selection, but it is with older motherboards); the BIOS can't be flashed with a non-supported CPU.
