Hi guys, I experienced these white squares on the start screen of my game and with certain skills I use in the game as well.
Computer Build:-
Sabertooth x99 motherboard
i7 5930k
Gigabyte g1 gaming gtx 980ti
32 gigs of corsair vengeance ddr4
corsair RM750 power supply
Nothing is overclocked.

I'm thinking video card, but it is brand new. If anyone has answers or has experienced this problem anything will be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to figure this out while I can still exchange/return anything to the store these were purchased at. Thanks

I exchanged the card, seemed to work fine. Then squares showed up. I failed to mention that it's not consistent but most of the time happens when it wakes from sleep. I want to say it's a problem with sleep and driver. But I'm not sure.

The white (sometimes black) artifacts are usually a sign of an overheating video card. It can also be power supply, bad videorams, faulthy motherboard or loose connections.

I´d suggest you check this first:
- reseat graphics card, power plugs and confirm everything sits neat and tight.
- install a temperature monitor and post the results when the checkboard style artifacts turns up.
- if the problem persist, try underclocking your graphics card.

I've read posts about stuff with graphics cards being overclocked. But can a factory oc screw it up like that? Also would you suggest I just exchange the mother board and power supply since I have a few more days for an exchange/return. I like the sabertooth x99 but should I try a different board? Thanks in advance.

I reseated the graphics card. I haven't pulled the power supply cables yet. However, it's a bit hard to troubleshoot since artifacts are inconsistent. There are times it doesn't happen at all. But since I had 30 days to return/exchange from the store, I've been trying to rule out faulty parts as quick as possible. I believe if I remember correctly I have about 4 or 5 more days to return stuff. I'm trying to avoid sending anything in under warranty and having to wait a few weeks without a computer. Thanks for the quick response.
