Deleting ssd partitions through Win 10 CP

Does deleting partitions off an ssd through windows command prompt damage an ssd (850 pro) in any way ? I'v done this on windows 7 and 8 countless times and never had a problem. The person I sold the ssd to claims that I damaged the ssd by cleaning the partition through windows command prompt. Is that even possible?

Physically damage the SSD? No.
Render it non-bootable by deleting the wrong partitions? Yes.

What was on it, and what did you delete?

It had windows 10 and a few small files . I cleaned all partitions because I was trying to sell it on amazon . I brought it back to its original state. No partition no data nothing on it .

I don't see any way to damage the SSD with partitions. The worst I can see happening is accidentally deleting the partition table, not just the partitions. That's fixed by creating a new partition table.

He is blowing smoke. You can't physically damage an SSD by deleting data or partitions.
