Ramdisk and all its trappings seems to be the fastest way to operate? has anyone got any stabilizing options or proven Ramdisk configuration specs for me to enjoy a fast operating system??

Solution
There could be if it is a RAMDISK card. Those have fallen out of favor. A card could have a battery, but generally RAMDISKs are created with system RAM and a software driver.

I wouldn't mess with a RAMDISK unless you have at least 16GB RAM. Even then I have limited mine to 4GB.
I have specific programs that run better with their databases on the RAMDISK. But I have to remember to copy the updates back to HDD. I have lost data because of a windows update that I forgot to save data before hitting reboot.

You will need to experiment with what benefits you on RAMDISK.

RAM disks are a tad over rated, rarely fully automagic and can detract from Windows cache management.
You'd probably have to have a very specific use case to make it worthwhile in time to install and configure
and maintain it.

I just put 32GB of RAM in my box with a fast processor and an SSD.

Not to mention your PC has to be constantly on, since RAMdisks operate as temporary storage, any time you power down your system, you will lose your entire operating system with it. If you want something faster than an SSD, buy an M2 drive. Anything else, the risks associated with it, completely outweigh the benefits.

RAM disks are persistent when a PC is in sleep. Power usage in sleep is very low. I don't power mine OFF unless I will be away for several days. RAM disks have a place, but you have to benchmark your app to determine if it benefits. They aren't for everyone. For files that can be lost: browser cache, TEMP directory, etc it is fine.
