Hi there, in advance to anyone who contributes, thank you very much.

Alright, so I stumbled across this problem around 15:00 PM yesterday whilst playing Swordsman Online.

Essentially what happens is my mouse has problems registering correctly. My left click and right click seem to mimic each other in a sense (e.g. on the desktop when I drag with the left or right button held down it mimics the dotted lines selection, and it then brings up the right-click menu). It also occasionally causes programs to lose focus, however this wouldn't ALWAYS send me to the desktop, it would just make the program unclickable, and in some programs such as Chrome, I can't select a new tab. It is extremely sporadic in which symptoms it chooses.

What I have tried so far:

  • I have ran virus scans with Bitdefender, Malware Bytes Anti Malware and Advanced Systemcare 8.
I have tried three separate mouses.
I have updated my graphics card drivers (Which seemed to fix the problem for about an hour)
I have gone through my mouse settings.
    I have ran a chkdsk.
I have ran a sfc scan.
I have ran safe mode (core, networking and CMD)
    I have restarted NUMEROUS times
I have closed explorer.exe NUMEROUS times
I have pressed CTRL + ALT + DEL then clicked cancel (This fixes the problem for all of 10 seconds, and only occasionally, not every time.

I haven't ran a system restore, however I ran into another forum post with someone who had the exact same problems as me, causing me to update my graphics card drivers. (They had tried a system restore)

Just for clarification sake, yes, I am still experiencing these problems.
I love fixing PCs and do this quite often, but yet I'm entirely stumped as to what's causing this problem, and if it wasn't my PC, I'd be very curious. I just want this problem to end. :)

How does that even remotely suggest it is working as intended? Especially when I state with both buttons it shows the double lined selection and then brings up the right click menu. The key word here being BOTH... Fair enough it does show dotted lines when you right click and drag normally, if that's where you got confused, but also read the fact that programs lose focus, just to add to the symptoms by the way, it occasionally will work, and then loads of right clicks will show up on whatever program I am using or on the desktop.

EDIT: As of 20:00 it seems to be working, however this problem as I said is sporadic and has come back before, and I'm assuming it will again, so please don't refrain from providing an answer.
