Windows 7 home computer has a blank black screen with "check signal cable" moving across the screen. Under check signal cable there are red green and blue boxes and under those it says Digital. What do I do?

There is an issue with your computer sending a video signal out to the monitor. Check the VGA/DVI/HDMI/Display Port whichever you are using and make sure everything is connected from PC to monitor.

Has anything changed with your hardware setup recently? Have you taken any components out of the PC for cleaning, such as the video card or RAM?
