Hi,
I upgraded CPU and GPU for my Dell Inspiron 530 to Intel Core 2 Duo E8600 3.33GHz and Nvidia GTX 750ti, also added 4gb of ram to make it 6.

The benchmark test for Hitman Absolution is still giving only 28 FPS avg. Is this the best I can expect or should it be higher? BTW, I've noticed that fan is running super loud during test, I did clean heatsink before running.

Solution
Q6600 have lower speed but more cores and some new games wont even start on dual core cpu or if they start they will run rly bad.
Even with stock cooler you can raise speed of Q6600 to 2.6 2.7 GHZ without any mayor heat impact.
Try to get Q6600 G0 version it is better one.
