Yes, that RAM is compatible with your system. However, the question is how many RAM slots you currently have available. We don't know exactly what model mboard you have, how many slots it has, or how many RAM modules are already installed in it. Also be aware that when you mix and match RAM, the mboard will run the RAM at the lowest common speed of all the RAM modules. Finally, that CPU has a dual-channel memory controller. If you already have two RAM sticks, adding a third unbalances things. It won't keep the computer from running, but ideally you want to keep things balanced with two or four RAM modules.

I have 2 slots, only one is being used. I want to use both RAM slots for the Crucial Ballistix 8GB 2x4. If you could tell me where to find the model-name of the mobo, I can tell you.
