I already have a R9 270x, and my friend is willing to sell me his (as he is upgrading) for only $60. I would love to take this offer, but my PSU only has 2 6-pins even though its 700W. Is there any way of making this work? PSU in question
EDIT: I just checked all the connecter on my PSU and it seems that this spec sheet is a bit off, I have a 8-pin PCIE plus one 8-pin EPS, not 2 EPS's, that would just be weird.

That PSU will not be enough to run two R9 270x since it only produces 600W total power and a total of 36A (432W/12V).

Honestly an Ultra PSU should not even be in a computer. For more info read the definition of the Tier5 category in the link below.

Radeon R9-270X - 24A and a 500W PSU minimum

Get a tier1 or tier2 750W PSU from this list above.

I run this one with two 7950

really? when I bought it was listed as a 700w, guess it's fake advertising then... Although I was looking around the place and saw a lot of people making it work with a 600w too, are you sure there's no way I can do this on this PSU? I really don't have the money atm to buy a $80 PSU for a $60 gpu...
