Just finished a build for the first time but I am experiencing a problem with the GPU.

Installed GPU to Motherboard PCI-Express slot. GPU Fan working, HDMI plugged into GPU shows windows on monitor and computer functions fine.

The problem is that device manager/dxdiag are not recognizing the GPU. The AMD Catalyst tool recommends an HD 8xxx driver. I have the driver installation disc that game with the GPU but no CD drive so it's worthless to me right now.

Is this a driver issue? Bios issue? Or am I screwed with a hardware issue?

Thank you for your time.

you have to download the latest drivers. you don't need the disc, just download them online. i had the same problem with my gpu and after installing drivers it was fine.
