I'm not very good at this..

I'm upgrading my monitor and have in mind a:

BENQ. BL3201PT 32" 3840X2160 IPS 4K 60HZ PRO MONITOR.

I will need a graphics card to drive, for my desktop currently with only on board capability. Following Win 7 desktop spec will help.

Board: A78M-E35 (MS-7721) 6.0
3.90 gigahertz AMD A8-6600K APU with Radeon HD Graphics
15558 Megabytes Usable Installed Memory

Whilst I know the monitor is fairly high spec I would like to look at budget cards as well as mid range. Be really grateful if you could suggest suitable cards. Also if anyone can suggest an alternative to the Benq, large screen, photo manipulation, video editing and video watching ( no gaming) then again grateful.

Many thanks…………

Did you check if your system supports that resolution as is? Onboard video in the A8 chip is not bad, it should run that resolution for non-gaming tasks just fine.

Get the monitor, see how things run on your system, then if it does not work properly, upgrade the video card.

A GT 730 GDDR5 small form factor should run in almost any system unless you have a power supply under 280 watts.
