So, I got a new mobo (Asus Z97-E) I was reapplying thernal paste on my Hyper 212+. The nut the cooler scews into came loose, so I took the mobo out, tightened then nut put everything back in, reconnected the plugs, and now if I have a stick of ram in Dimm A1 or Dimm B1, the mobo doesnt turn on, it cycles on for 2 sec, no post shuts down turns on for two sec... endlessly. Before I tightened the nut this PC system worked fine. clearing cmos did nothing
It works fine if I I only use 1 ram stick in the A2 or B2, I checked all my other components in a different motherboard.
What could I have doneto cause this? Any fix?
