Just installed new RAM, computer won't boot, any ideas?

Hi guys, as said in the post I just installed new RAM, unfortunately my problem now is that the computer won't boot.

When I hit the power button the computer turns on and you can see the usual heavy disk useage on the indicator, the disk usage then stops and nothing happens. Nothing appears on the monitor in this process.

Have you tried reinstalling the RAM modules, if yes then what RAM module/modules are u using?

Yeah, I have, they're corsair vengeance 2x 8gb sticks.

have you tried clearing cmos(hardware reset)? also what are your full specs, including memory part number?

When i try to do the same, i got a problem like you said, its because (may be) the RAM was bad installed, i use less strength to push because i think im going to break the mobo, then, i saw a video, and, he use a lot of strength to push, you can listen a click on both sides of RAM

I tried clearing the CMOS, but to no avail. I have an ASUS rampage iV extreme edition, Gtx780, Intel 4770k, 750W power supply, Corsair vengeance 16gb (new ram). Any ideas?

I got a Asus Ranger with the same RAM and my only problem was the strength when I push down the RAM. that's the only thing i think can make the problem

thats an lga 2011 socket incompatible with i7 4770k lga 1150 socket

providing correct product info will help a great deal. you can open tower side panel and see memory part number.
