Hi,

Had a look through a lot of common faults but still cant get anywhere.

Long story but:

My graphics card would crash with certain games early on. Seems to be a common fault with the card (Sapphire dual X R9 280x). Spoke to Sapphire who gave me instructions and new bios to flash two new bios to the card.

Something went wrong during the flash and now the card is effectively bricked.

Looked at the forums and they
suggested to put another graphics card in the pci-e slot and the bricked 280x in the peg slot and flash using "-p 1".

I went out and bought a new Asus G210 gpu to do this. tried to test the G210 on its own in the motherboard but it wont go past the bios splash screen. Computer still boots up with on board graphics no problem.

Have tried taking out mobo battery, unplugged hard drives and disc drive. Took out 1 stick of ram but nothing works.

Any help would be appreciated.

PC Specs:

Intel 3570k
Gigabyte Z77-DS3h
8GB XMS3 RAM
CX750M Corsair

Bricked GPU Sapphire R9 280x
New GPU that wont boot Asus G210

There's another slot, the PEG one but the same case in that one. The tv gets the Screen before the bios, the screen that says press del, f12 etc. but freezes on that page with the G210 in. Don't think the slots are broken because there is a picture.....
