I am looking for a pc with 4.0 + ghz processor, 16 gb ram, and a powerful graphics card, I live in Canada so it has to be from a Canadian store. I have 1600$ to spend shipping and taxes included. I would like a monitor included as well. I will be using this pc to watch videos in extreme hd like 2140p. any suggestions for a rig would be appreciated
Thanks

For watching video, yes. Editting/renderring, probably not.

Realistically, for a 4k "watching video" HTPC type machine, the Pentium G3258 would be more than adequate.

If that's all you're going to be doing, you could build a desktop (even small form, as you wouldn't need a GPU), you could build it to mount behind your monitor. Maybe $500-650 range would do it (plus your monitor).

Just watching videos in 4k? Well I guess 2140p is technically Ultra HD now?
If you just mean like Youtube/Netflix/Blu-ray, most modern CPU graphics can handle it (how well, is to be debated).

What else are you going to be doing with the rig? 16GB RAM is a lot for watching videos....
Are you video editting? Entirely different.

A 4k capable monitor is going to set you back a minimum of $650 for a decent quality monitor, and only increase from there. http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-monitor-pb287q

It's hard to find a PC that has all of the specs you want. You should instead build one. For 1600 you can build yourself a decent computer and buy a nice monitor.

[1] Monitor : Crossover 4k monitor 32'': $400

[2] Computer Case: Vivo ATX mid tower: $40

[3] Mother Board: MSI Z97: $150

[4] Processor: AMD FX 9590 Eight-Core 4.7GHz + CPU cooler: $200

[5] Graphics Card: AMD Radeon R9-280 3gb: $200

[6] Hard Disc : 1tb (1,000gb) hard disk: $50

[7] RAM: Crucial 16gb ram: $70

[8] CD Drive: panasonic : $60

All these would cost $1170 and i found them on ebay and it ships worldwide. Goodluck.

Building it is definitely the way to go. You're correct there.

I think the OP is looking for 2 monitors now.

As far as the Crossover monitors go, if memory serves they're rejected Apple panels, which are likely to have dead pixels. There's disclaimers on a lot of the sellers. "0-5 dead pixels is considered normal".
In that price-range, I guess it is. But if you're paying for a 4k monitor, wouldn't you want perfection?
