Hello! I recently had a friend offer to buy a PC that I built over last summer (entry-level gaming PC) because that's all he wanted for his work and I wanted to test my computer building skills again. My first build went smoothly, with a few mistakes that the people on this forum helped greatly with, and I think I'm ready to move up a notch in the PC realm :)

I'm building this PC with high level gaming in mind. I want to make sure that I have a fully unique, aesthetically pleasing, and overall beast of a workstation. I'm pretty satisfied with the current idea of the build, although more input is always great to make sure I didn't miss anything huge.

The PC itself will have an i7 4690k running on a MSI z97 Gaming 5 MOBO.

I chose 16gb of RAM to futureproof and make sure I can get the most out of any game I want to (within reason of course).

The GPU is a GTX 970, which may not be the best choice for high-end gaming, but I figure that I can always upgrade to SLI if I need to since the MOBO supports it.

The heatsink and fans were all chosen with the plans to keep everything as cool and as crisp as possible, since my current PC build does have a few heating and noise issues, albeit minor.

I was cautiously optimistic about a fully modular PSU, but I want to upgrade to the individually sleeved PSU cables for that high end look :)

The rest is pretty self explanatory, standard drives and such, and the case was chosen for aesthetics, airflow, and space.

I'd love any feedback on how to make it better or any special build tips that I might need to take into consideration. No accidents or surprises for this build!

I'm going for kind of a white/red design, so I'll have red sleeves and red LEDs along the top as well. The MOBO and GPU are red, and I'm replacing the fan with blue LEDs with a red one as well, so I should have a pretty solid color coordination all the way throughout. Thanks for the help :)
