okay graphics card i can afford is the gtx 970 but which one out of the many different versions runs best (msi, evga, gigabyte)

also i am currently running on stock cpu cooler but when i get graphics card i know my cpu will be getting quite hot when i beginning gaming on some of my big games with the stock so i would also like a recommendation for a better cpu cooler (case is corsair 100r) would prefer air my cpu is an i7 4970K @ 4ghz no overclock

well you really don't need an after market cooler for your cpu if you aren't going to overclock. But if you want one just get the Hyper EVO 212, it's cheap, its quiet and you seriously don't need more cooling than it provides.

Personally I like EVGA cards but I can't honestly say they're the fastest as all those vendors OC their cards. EVGA are usually a bit more expensive though if that matters.
