Hi guys I'm looking to build a computer for $800. I don't know that much about building computers and I'm afraid I won't get the maximum value per dollar. I hope I'm posting this in the correct place.

I saw this article about gaming builds and was wondering if I should just copy it: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/newegg-system-builder-marathon-q3-2015-gaming-pc,4305.html

I want to primarily use my computer for games such as Fallout, Skyrim, LoL, WoW, CS GO, etc. It would be really nice if I could stream games such as LoL as well, but this is not a must.

I do not need a solid state hard drive (although it would be cool!), I would rather have a bigger hard drive than a computer that can boot up in 5 seconds. A 1 TB hard drive is more than enough for me, i can settle with a 500 GB one just fine too if the budget is limiting.

I'm not too picky about operating systems, I'd prefer Windows 7 but if something else comes bundled with a different Windows OS that's fine too.

Will Black Friday have good deals? Should I just post this again around that time or will the prices be negligible?

I noticed in the article linked above he's only using a dual core, are the differences in gaming between a dual core and a quad core negligible for gaming? Or is $800 not enough for a quad core?

I'm trying to learn as much as I can for building a new computer but there's so much information out there. I welcome any questions, comments, insults my way.

Thanks

Should be a good all round build . The latest series of quadcore from intel . The GTX 960 graphics card will play games well at 1080p resolution
