I can't connect to my exercise bike. I did before but now I can't connect. It always says download failed.

I restored defaults - re entered password - SSID- IP address. Etc., still can't download maps. I checked my driver in my computer. It's up to date. Don't know what to do. I have a pro-form, Le Tour de France exercise bike and I was routing my own maps. Now it won't download from my computer to my bike so I can't do my workouts. I get other maps but inwant my local map. I restored the bike to factory defaults. But I didn't cycle power. I just hate to do that all over again. I need help.

You are using wireless connectivity - correct? Do you get any error messages when you attempt the downloads?

As I read your post it does appear that you can transfer "other maps" but not your "local map". Are the two types of maps (for lack of a better word) stored in different folders? What happens if you put your local map (a copy) into the "other maps" folder?

My confusion is that you say you cannot "connect to my exercise bike" but then say that you can get "other maps".

Question: You posted that you entered an IP address. I would expect that the bike would get its IP via your router and DHCP. Does the bike have a static IP? Are you sure that you selected the correct wireless security setting?

Does the bike appear as a device on your router or some other networking tool?

Just need a bit more understanding of the setup and process.....
