It would totally depend on what you were doing.
If you get a 24-core or whatever is the best Intel CPU that might get the highest performance for well threaded tasks like video conversion but it would still be beaten by a relatively inexpensive i5-4690K.
I didn't know if video conversion was being considered but than a 100K is silly too.
Other:
Just FYI, but I've seen people throw money at machine like 4xTitan etc and have a much worse experience than far cheaper but properly designed systems.
Any more than a new i7 and 2x980Ti and you start throwing money in the garbage for gaming.
A good GSYNC MONITOR is also a must for the best gaming experience.
