I'm having trouble downloading a working ethernet driver for Inspiron 570 Windows 7 32-Bit.

I downloaded the driver on a window XP website to a flash drive directly from Dell.com. When I try to install it on my windows 7 32-bit computer an error keeps popping up saying "This installation package is not supported by this processor type." I tried various other drivers to see if something will work but nada.

Also, I think window XP is downloading the driver in some sort of XP compatible mode and maybe this is why it is not installing in my windows 7 machine.
Any ideas?

Blerg... I tried the two Window 7 32-bit Ethernet drivers but get this error; "Windows cant open this file, windows needs to know what program you want to use when opening it". Any suggestions? I wonder if it has to do with the flash drive being used. It is old.

I think your answer here is the best one. We realized that the window 7 installation disc we were using was 32-bit but the computer came with windows 7 64-bit, so the drivers were not working as they should. As soon as we get the 64-bit disc, I think all the issues will clear up.
