Hello folks,

As in the title, which one of these three best fits my requirement. Not a competitive/online FPS player so response time and input lag doesn't matter much. My only concern is color/picture quality and power consumption.

The best options currently available to me are these four dells, but, is HP LP3065 better than any of these in terms of picture quality or power consumption.

Thanks.

You have a 34" monitor there as well, but for a computer system, I think anything that large is a bit unweildly to sit in front of too close. If you will be sitting far away or using it as a TV, then the 34" one is best.

Why are you looking at old monitors as well as new? The U3007WFP is an almost 10 year old model, the U3011 is the older version of the U3014 so that is also silly to get over the updated model.

I'd pick between the U3014 or the U3415W depending on what size you want. You do realized that the U3415W is about $700+ and the 3011 is about $1,000?

The HP you listed is from 2007, unless it's in perfect shape and is cheap there is no sense in looking at that.

First of all thanks.

Now my friend I've got some money to spare but the priority is to save as much as I can. Hence these second hand options like 3007, 3011 and lp3065. So don't make haste in being judgemental :).

Out of 3014 and 3415, the latter is much cheaper don't know why. So both price and looks make it the obvious choice apparently. But if you can share more info as to which to go for and why, it'll be great.

I bought a refurbished Dell u3014 for $300 a few months ago. If you're in the Philippines, I can send you a link where to buy it from.

I came from a Dell u2419 and it runs hot. I can feel my face sweat a bit after an hour of usage. The screen coating is so harsh that pixels get a bit muddy. I am a photographer and screen quality is a big concern for me. The newer and [ridiculously] bigger u3014 fits the bill! Screen barely runs hot. Coating is mild as well.

So to finally answer your question: get the u3014 or the u3415. Just pick which one has the best deal for you man. You won't be disappointed. I'm a gamer and a photographer. The u3014 is fast enough and color reproduction is amazing :) not to mention the size! It's jaw dropping

You're right. The second hand options are available on very attractive prices but there's always an unknown risk associated with them. Not sure how they've been handled in the past so yeah new it is. But 3014 is almost ~$400 dollars more than 3415 in my country. So my only choice is 3415 but then I've got concerns about the letter-boxing/stretching issues related to upscaling lower resolutions/aspect ratios.
