Hi guys, probably a very elementary Q but I really dont know! I thought I could charge devices from my USB ports, but for whatever reason I am not able to. I bought the following light for my sons bedroom but cant get it to charge :/

Your help is very appreciated :)

What kind of light are you trying to charge? It is possible that the USB does put out enough voltage for the device to actually get a charge. USB uses very low power i.e. you noticed a huge difference when charging a cell phone or tablet from a wall socket (usually up to 2.0amps) as opposed to a USB port which uses less.
