So im Building this gaming pc this month:

Case: BitFenix Neos
Motherboard: MSI B85-G41-PCMATE ATX motherboard
CPU: Intel core i5-4460 3.20GHz Quad Core
RAM: 8GB (2x4) Vengeance Pro 1600MHz
GPU: EVGA GTX 970 4GB VRAM
HDD: 1TB WD
SSD: 120GB Kingston
PSU: 750W EVGA Supernova G2 Power supply

Btw: PLS Dont tell me to get a r9 390 over the gtx 970, because the r9 390 is 60 euro more in amazon uk and i live in ireland so pls dont :) and it also gets only around 2fps more than gtx 970

So Im looking for this pc to last around 1 or 2 years and game at 1080p with high settings and high fps... and i would like to know if the i5 4460 is good enough for that and is it really far behind the 4690K... and is it gonna make a really major difference? i would also like to know if the motherboard is ok for future upgrades .. for example if I upgrade my cpu to i7 4790 or the 3770 and the gpu to 980 TI in the future .. will I be fine with that motherboard? Because i dont want to upgrade the motherboard or the Power supply.. thats why im getting 750w! Also keep in mind that even if i upgrade the cpu.. it wont be overclockable :)

Thank you !

The difference between the 4460 and he 4690k won't be significant especially if you wont be overclocking.
If you wanted to upgrade to an i7-4790k you will be fine and your motherboard has 2 PCI x16 slots and Gen3 so in terms of upgrading graphics cards, you are in the clear
