Hi everyone I am looking for a new a GPU or the best GPU that my computer can run without Bottlenecking. $200-300 is my range.

Current Specs.
CPU: Phenom II x6 1100t
PSU: EVGA 80 Plus 600W ATX 12v/EPS 12V Black.
16GB Ram.

I was thinking about a GTX 960 but would that bottleneck with my CPU? any other recommendations for a good GPU In that price range that my cpu won't bottleneck?

Solution
The R9 280x or 380 would be the best I would get, but your psu is not good enough for either of those so I would go with the GTX960

So my cpu wouldn't bottleneck the 960? How is the 960 btw?

Really what?

I would like to know why a 600w PSU is not good enough for an R9 380.

People around these parts say worse about the CX430 and yet one has been running my 380 @ full load for several months now, I'd give that PSU a go myself.

Do you think a 600w would be fine for an R9 380. What about the 970 and my cpu with a new psu that is.

That's what I thought. Do you think my psu would be fine running a 960? Would it last a while running that or would I need a better psu to run a 960.

A 960 does use significantly less power than a 380.

Alright so a 960 would be my safest bet with my current set up. Ok good to know and you think my psu will last a while running it
