So, I'm upgrading my PC this christmas, the parts i've picked so far are the following:

- HyperX FURY Series 16GB (2x 8GB) DDR3 1866MHz CL10 DIMM Memory Module Kit - Blue

- EVGA Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 Superclocked with ACX 2.0 Cooling 4GB Graphics Card

- Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB 2.5-Inch Solid State Drive

my color theme is blue, i'm trying to be as blue as possible in my PC, also the parts i picked, especially the graphics card - is it a good choice?

My Current Specs (for the parts i'll be replacing)
8gb RAM
500gb HDD (slightly corrupt ;/ - been working fine though)
AMD Radeon R9 270x overclocked

- MY POWER SUPPLY IS 550W -

Solution
I would recommend the R9 390x as the performance will be about the same, but it's ~$75 cheaper, and has 2x the vRAM. I would specifically recommend the Sapphire Radeon R9 390x Tri-x card, as it has a cooler that is designed for the card, not just a cooler that is some sort of "one size fits all but was actually designed for Nvidia cooler".

Probably won't need more than 8GB of RAM for most games.
