i5 6600k
R9 290 Windforce 4gb.
8gb G Skill Ripjaws.
I can kill any game at ultra fine, but fallout 4 ultra 1080p? Yeah, when I go around goodneighbor or around diamond city, try maybe 30fps. Commonweatlh, a steady 45-50 Any settings, you name it. God Rays off, antialiasing off, on, doesn't matter. 30-40 fps. Tried V sync on and off, nothing. As soon as I look at the Corvega plant or anything, my fps is abysmal. I mean its crazy. I don't have that problem on 1440p crysis.
I have tried the newest beta drivers, rolled back, nothing and nothing.
Tweaking ini, turning off shadows, object fade, not much difference.
The point is, I shouldn't have to. A 970 barely dips and that's a 290's equal nVidia counterpart.
Is this an AMD thing? Or am I just missing a silly setting?
