What motherboard for my new gaming pc

Solution
There are two ways of approaching which board to get.

One would be to think if you're going to do SLI in the future with your 960. If so, then you'll be looking at Z boards.....and make sure they support SLI (as some do not). The other is to look a H boards (which do not fully support it). They are less expensive, but still will work just fine for single GPU setups.

Second would be if you thought you'd upgrade to K processor at some point (that does overclock), then you'd be looking a Z board regardless. In that case, still make sure that the one you go with supports SLI (as some support CF only instead), just so if you changed your mind, or upgraded to two other Nvidia GPUs, you could.
