Hi, I am upgrading to a Zotac 980 ti AMP! Extreme from a gtx 770 and wondering if 600 watts PSU is enough.

These are my current PC specs in case you need them:
Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 770 2GB
ATX 600w sl 8600eps
1TB SATA III 7200RPM + 120GB SSD
16GB DDR3 1600

Solution
Depends on the quality of the PSU and the strength of the 12v + rail . Due to the poor quality of your PSU I wouldn't run a 980ti with it.

A GeForce GTX 980ti NEEDS 38 amps on the 12v + rail and a 600 watt power supply wit 2 - 6+2 PCIE power connections.

I wouldn't run a $650 video card on a cheap generic junk quality PSU. The PSU quality and 12v amperage are more important than advertised wattage. PSU can only deliver a max of 480w on the 12v rail and is built using very low quality components.

Do you have any recommendations of a PSU for this card?
