Let me know if you need more info. I'm hoping to do this asap. SO! If it will work and not break everything I will just cut my PCIe slot to make it fit :D

Also the cards pinout is smaller then the entire slot but wont fit into any of the sections. Should I cut out the middle of PCIe slot?

I'll get an adapter if I have to!

I did something similar when I fit a Radeon 6670 into my 2u server. It involved cutting the back off the slot, but I had the advantage of doing it to a 90 degree riser board assembly which meant no chance of damaging the motherboard.

From the looks of it, you'll need to cut the card itself as it looks like the GPU pcb might interfere with the heatsink behind it. It is pretty easy, measure twice, mark it off, then slowly cut it off using a dremel with a cutting wheel.

And when you cut, remember you can always cut it shorter, you cannot cut it longer...

Wait, the cards PCIe out won't fit in the mobos PCIe in, what should I do about that. Where on the motherboard PCIe should I cut, I don't mind if PCB gets in the way since it doesn't fit right now. I will do that later.?
Would cutting middle of pcie on motherboard work, to make the card fit or would I want to cut out the back.

Update: I sized it up and if I cut out midde(assuming would work) the card would fit and not hit anything

Or are you saying cut some PCIe pins off on my gpu so it fits.

Problem is that silver heatsink right behind the slot.

it may well be. but removing the bit of plastic is his only option if he wants to try and get a 16x card in there. a 16x riser card (which could also be trimmed on the motherboard side) may help or it's possible the graphics card will just barely fit. regardless his options are limited.

If I cut the non pinned stickout that usually helps hold in the gpu, it will still work right. If I do, it won't touch the hs
