So I posted in the memory section the other day about upgrading RAM....starting to think it wasnt the RAM...anyways..

I ordered identical sticks to what I have....currently it was 2x 4gb and I got 2 more...

I have an Asrock z75 pro 3 mother board..

My RAM is

F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL

Should be compatible no? I tested all the sticks, they all work in A1, they all work 8gb in A1 A2...I can't get dual channel working at all...my mobo is about 2 years old now I didn't realize I should of have them in A1 and B1 this whole time so I could have been taking a small performance hit in single channel this whole time gaming?

I reset my bios to default....even cpuz realized I have 16gb but Windows and Bios didn't...In BIOS it would show there in the slots but it wouldn't have them show up in like settings and stuff...

Any ideas guys? Thanks

I actually got it to work. The problem was my hyper 212 cooler I recently put on was too tight. I reseated the processor and the cooler and all 4 sticks n dual channel are working fine.
check the mb ram guild see if your mb was tested with 4 stick of that ram. i had same issue on my sabertooth with gkill ram..three stick would work but not 4. to see if it your mb or a bent pin or bad cpu. walk one ram stick into the other ram slots. a2/b1/b2. see if a2 and b2 work. also make sure the mb has the newest bios file. if there an issue check for bent pins under the cpu.

All the sticks seem to work fine...I'm gonna have to test them in different slots for sure..my bios is up to date I know that. I'll have to check for any bent pins but far as I know there isn't any when I checked yesterday before I installed the hyper 212 cooler
