Guys may i have some questions regarding to my build. Im a fan of hardcore gaming but my budget is limited. Here is the current build.

ram: KINGSTON 8GB DDR3 1600 (2X4GB)
gpu: AMD RADEON R9 290x
psu: HEC COUGAR 600w
hdd: 500GB TOSHIBA

PS: is r9 290x will be fine to this kind of build? or not? how about my mobo? is it fine? Im planning to build my own pc im still a noob this kind of things. Its my first time so im hoping someone will guide me :) thanks :* any comments will be appreciated.

my budget is just $600. luckily i found a r9 290x for just $255. Are u asking for OS? i already have win 7.

A 290X isn't going to happen on that budget, unfortunately. If you want to stick with AMD, swap the GTX 960 for a R9 280.

Since COUGAR's PSUs are primarily made by HEC Group they should be avoided. The output cables tend to be on the short side. There is also the tendency to use a cheap sleeve bearing cooling fan. Some of the electrolytic capacitors are cheap low quality parts. These are just some of the signs of the cost cutting used in the design and manufacturing of Cougar PSUs.

Biostar does not make good quality motherboards. They should be avoided for use in gaming machines in general.

If you can, add a SSD to the build above. It will make the PC much more responsive and reduce loading times greatly. The Samsung 850 EVO 250GB is a good buy. Get the 120GB if you are on a very tight budget. If you do get an SSD, install the OS and any frequently used applications on it. Put everything else on the HDD.
