Hey guys, I have a very tight budget and I have been assembling my rig for at least a week, I have this so far:

Corsair RM 750
Core i5 4790k
EVGA GTX 970 FTW+
ASUS B85-PRO GAMER
Kingston HyperX FURY (2x8GB)

I don't know if I should buy a core i7 instead of the core i5 and a MSI GTX 960 GAMING 4G, I can't afford both the FTW+ and core i7

The rig is for gaming and casual video editing, any suggestion about it? Thanks!

What i5 are you looking at? the 4790k is an i7. What applications are you running that will make use of the i7's hyper threading? If you can't answer, then you don't need an i7.
Also, save yourself some money by buying the Corsair RM550w as 750w is wayy over kill for this build.

Also, if you are going to skimp out on the mobo and not get a z87 board, then there is no need to get an unlocked processor as you won't be able to overclock

Thank you! Actually it's 4690k not 47 :D Then a RM750 is overkill? the price difference between the RM550, RM650 and RM750 are about 19 bucks, it would be a problem if I buy the RM750?

- Buy an i5 4460 and gtx 970 instead.
- You are wasting your money on a RM 750w,unless you are planning to SLI the cards in future.A tier 1/2 category 550w
is enough
Any other question?

RM 750w is not that good.If you are not planning to SLI a 750w would be a waste.

The mobo doesn't support SLI unfortunately :(
I will change my psu for a RM550 then, thank you so much! :D
