Found a pdf about the motherboard and this is what it says,

Support DDR3 1.5V 1066/1333 (1GB / 2GB / 4GB)
seems that 1600 is not supported.Might expect that the ram is running at it's spd speed of 1333,but maybe a chipset issue as well being an older H57 chipset.Just try to find a good 1333 set of ram with lower timings, see if that runs.

First of all, thanks for being here man!

Secondly, can I still use the RAM? Is there any way I can downgrade it to 1333 so it still supports it?

Could take the ram out,do a clear cmos by taking the motherboard battery out for a few minutes and place it back, after that put the new ram in see if it works. Am doubtfull though, but worth a shot,it can't do any harm.
If the bios doesn't adjust to the ram isn't there alot you can do.With it being an oem motherboard are there very few options in the bios that can be changed if any at all.

After those steps, do I remove the old RAM and just put the 2 new RAM, or put them all together?
I'm already not very confident about this, probably gonna sell this ram and look for a good DDR-1333 that isn't that expensive, or just switch my motherboard up, but that would probably be way harder and complicated than just finding the new RAM wouldn't it? Do you know about any good DDR3-1333 RAM?

I'll try that in a few minutes

Can't return the RAM to the vendor, already passed the time unfortunaly

Would that RAM be compatible with everything? I can post more information if needed. Going to sell this RAM and buy the new set of RAM soon probably.

EDIT: Tried it, did not work unfortunaly, going to sell this RAM and buy the new pair, currently looking at some RAM, but I'm not really that knowledgeable in this, the one you suggested seems nice and at a good price, but would like to know if it is compatible with everything else before buying, thanks for the help in this man.

some acers also can have a memory limit lock in there bios so say it set fo a total of 4gb and you put 6 or 8 in that's over its limit and don't work [this also can include gpu memory as well]

acer is real funny and got there tricks to prevent upgrading

one guy got a 2 gb vid card and we discovered as long as he use the factory 1gb ti would work the 2gb not but if he removed one stick of his ram then the 2gb card would work cause that put him back below the limit

sounds crazy but true and looking all that up for him we seen a post from a old forum where a guy showed this ''trick'' that worked for him and we tried it and it work for us as well

got to remember a prebuilt is only gurenteed to work as is how you bought it out of the box -- anything you do over that is all your own risk

they sell new computers and don't care about you doing upgrades - you need better you run to Wal-Mart and buy there better one

Looking at what i already linked as supported do i think that this will work, since an older type ripjaws do i not think that there will be incompatibilities and with a cas 7 still nice ram to have.

As said above,i can't be 100% sure, you'll need to try, look at return policies of the vendor so that if not compatibel you can return it.Again i do see no problems other than it being an oem motherboard with it's sometimes very limited bios.

Yes, it is really contradicting, will try to contact acer to be 100% if it handles 4gb modules, thanks guys for being here helping me

why you don't buy a prebuilt for anything but light house hold and office use

heres my deal I give on vid - card upgrades

some models of store bought computers [dell.hp,acer,ect..] may come with a ''locked or fixed'' bios and may not allow you to change certain hardware as a video card.. this is done to protect them from undue warranty claims and refunds .this is not done to hurt you but to protect them. you really need to see if that upgrade has been proven to work in your model first before you invest money in it .. there are a lot of these threads here at toms to look at some models will allow upgrades and some dont.. and a lot of guys here say ya ya ya when is really no no no...it would be sad you spent $200 on a card that wount post after you installed it as most find out. then get told its your psu and you spend more and end up right back where you are now, but its up to you good luck..

you got to know the the boards in these computers are not like the ones we use to do custom builds witch are open to upgrading with in the boards compatibly . the bios is custom made for there design and just for the parts they authorize to be used on there computers there only guaranteed to work as is out of the box as you bought it ,..

also these boards do not have to meet atx standards and there pci-e slot power may not do the required 75w needed for most higher end cards and can be limited to say 45 or 60w that is all thats needed with the low end factory oem cards that it may of shipped with

like I said there only guaranteed to work as you bought it out of its box that's it

I was already able to upgrade the graphics card with no problem whatsoever, it came with an NVIDIA GeForce GT 320 and I upgraded it to my current R7 Sapphire 270, but now I really have to upgrade the RAM, I do a lot of gaming on it and these 4gb are starting to hurt, and no money to buy a new one or build one, if I had I would do so right off the bat
