i bought this case on amazon after reading some reviews and forums, everyone said it was a good case but after purchasing i was reading some more reviews online and thats when i found out that it has ''bad'' airflow? these are the components going into the case
msi z97 gaming 5 motherboard
evga gtx 970 graphics card
i7 4790 cpu
h100i gtx cpu cooler
do i have anything to worry about? will the airflow be decent? i thought i read alot of reviews but guess not :/ i havent put my build together yet fearing about the airflow situation any help is appreciated :)

Its a great case, no idea why people are complaining about airflow in it given the huge amount of stock cooling . Just built up this case for a friend and it with a full sized ATX board and a Kraken X61 cooler in it runs whisper quiet.

The one thing I would suggest buying for it would be a Sata power extension cable if you're using SSD's. Its kind of hard to explain without pictures. The SSD's lay flat on the bottom by the motherboard edge and when plugging in the power the power connector is usually at a right angle to the cables. This creates a couple of mm of unwanted stress angle on the SSD connector. May not damage over time but its worth noting.

Other thing, you may want to look at a 12pin CPU PSU cable extension. Depending...

Other thing, you may want to look at a 12pin CPU PSU cable extension. Depending on the PSU length, it may be a bit of a stretch to reach all the way along the back and then hook in to the front of the case to plug it in. It barely reached on my friends seasonic PSU. May not be needed but worth keeping in mind.

thank you for letting me know, ive heard from forums that the top of the case doesnt let air in or out that well? due to the little holes for the heat to leave and come in? is this true? do i have anything to worry about when my radiator goes on top? im setting the h100i as an exaust fan

Cooling he's had no issues at all. Stress testing the hell out of CPU and GPU we couldn't get anything even near its thermal limit. As for airflow, its just fine. If you're putting the rad on the top there is sound damping material under the top panel that you can take off if you're concerned about airflow. Oh one thing I will mention since it was an issue with his build and the cooler, get a 140mm fan grill for the rear fan. You may not run in to the issue since your hoses will be shorter, but his were brushing against the rear 140mm exhaust fan, so we had to get a grill guard for the fan.

thanks alot!! appreciate this i will keep my case and build it monday :) do you think i should take of the sound damping thing? and sorry im still a noob at pc's so does this slide off or do i have to pull it off? thanks again buddy you have helped me alot

I don't know for sure on that damping thing yet. I was going to take a look at his rig this weekend and see if its breathing ok after a couple weeks with the material left in. I haven't tried taking it off the top panel yet so I don't know how easy it is to get rid of. Feel free to hit me up in a PM or something if you have an questions on your build and I'll be happy to assist if I can.
