I have a 3tb hard drive and a 400 gb SSD installed in my computer, but when I look at my files only the SSD comes up as the only available place to save my files (I have already installed windows 10 on the SSD). How do I make the hard drive possible for storage?

Is the 3TB hard drive new?

If so, you'll need to initialize and format it first before being able to use it.

1) Right click the start button and select 'Disk Management'
2) In disk management you should see your 3TB drive with a black line underneath it
3) Right-click the 3TB drive and select 'Initialize'
4) Right-click the 3TB drive and select 'Format'

After the format close out of Disk Management. You should now be able to see your drive under 'My Computer' and use it for extra storage.
