I'm planning on building a computer with a Biostar Hi-Fi B85S3+ Ver. 6.x Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard. It says on NewEgg it has a Realtek ALC662 soundchip, and I looked online and can't find out if it has Stereo Mix. I don't know much about soundchips.

That's right, but I'm sure all Realtek chips support that with there drivers anyway. Just follow one of the guides on the net...

I don't know what store prices dropping has to do with its usefulness, but its useful to me; I want to be able to record pc gameplay and not just the video, but audio.

Obviously a different use of the term stereo mix. Maybe this helps: http://stereomixplus.com/

Sorry, I don't know much about stereo mix, except that you record with it. I just recently found out that the sound card handles it. So with this Stereo Mix Plus software, it wont matter if I have Stereo Mix on my sound card because this adds it?
