Hi Guys!

I am looking to build the lowest possible budget PC for Gaming and Game Development, I am from the UK which means my budget is in pounds (I assumed it'd be around £600 but any cheaper is fine by me!)

I am hoping for 60FPS at 1080p but will drop to 720p if that makes the price significantly lower. I would prefer an Intel / Nvidia deal but would settle for Intel + AMD if it is much cheaper.

I do not need a keyboard, mouse or OS. I just need the rest.

I have plain headphones I can use if you can't fit them into the budget but I would like them. But as I stated, they're not necessary.

This is a suggestion:
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/CPXJK8
Total cost: £653 - is that too much? You stated

It's based upon Tom's Hardware's own $800 suggestion (which was roughly £600 when I put it in). I've modified some components as you wanted a Intel/Nvidia build. It doesn't have an optical drive which they suggested (but they stated that it was a waste of money). You can see their build here:

Tom's Hardware's build (roughly that of the modified one I posted):
ARMA 3 (Standard quality @ 1080p): 116.3 FPS
ARMA 3 (Ultra quality @ 1080p): 55.1 FPS
Battlefield 4 (Medium quality @ 1080p): 119.4 FPS
Battlefield 4 (Ultra quality @ 1080p): 53.5 FPS
Far Cry 3 (High quality/No AA, std alpha, SSAO @ 1080p): 82.1 FPS
Far Cry 3 (Ultra quality/4x AA, enh. alpha, HBAO @ 1080p): 46.2 FPS
Grid 2 (High quality/No AA @ 1080p): 106.5 FPS
Grid 2 (Ultra quality/8x MSAA @ 1080p): 81.3 FPS

As for Fallout 4:
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2015-the-best-pc-hardware-for-fallout-4-4023

They suggest the 960 as the best sub £200 card for Fallout 4 as the AMD cards have mysterious falls in frame rate. For the record, I put a lot of faith in Digital Foundry :)

Hi, while researching I wondered if the GPU would block the MoBos ram slots? :)
