Hi, I need to know if my system can handle another xfx r9 280x. Will the psu be enough for overclocking? Is the motherboard compatible with another card without loosing to much performence?

But on the box of the motherboard it says that it can support amd crossfire

It can support crossfire X , which is not crossfire.

Crossfire splits the x16 graphics lanes into two x8 connections.

Crossfire X keeps the first slot at x16 and supplements that running the second slot at x4. The second slot chokes the performance of any decent graphics card. Its only useful for two very basic cards.

Your solution is to buy one better card , not crossfire
