While searching for a problem to fix my 100% disk usage, which I eventually fixed my computer is acting strange on boot. When I boot it up where the dell logo used to appear I just get a black screen and 10 seconds later its loads into windows. After that my computer is fine, it just seems a little odd to me... I did disable some things on the start up such as some .bat files that looked sketchy and out of place and a program called Cyber Ghost that I never remembered installing but apparently its a VPN program, is it this?

The BIOS logo is typically displayed during BIOS initialization which is before the BIOS hands control over to Windows. Look in your BIOS settings. There is probably a setting there that determines whether or not the logo or "splash screen' is displayed. That splash screen usually also shows what the hot key is to enter the BIOS setup routine so you might have to look it up online or in the manual.

Awesome! Glad you got it working. This is becoming obsolete and does not work on SSDs or RAID arrays. Some will argue this - but in my experience with newer systems it is best to leave it off. :)
