Look. I'll be honest. I didn't fully explore the entirety of this website and probably not the internet, but I'm going to ask anyway.
I am in possession of an Asus Z97 Pro-Gamer motherboard and an Asus GTX 980 Ti OC Strix GPU (I have more, but these are the crux of my situation...)
I'm building my own case to fit with certain beliefs I have on thermal dissipation, and I've run into a problem...
Does it matter which PCI I use? Because from what I can tell, there are 2 x16 PCI and 1 x8 PCI slots.
Because if I use the nearest one to the CPU, my case needs remodeling because of the space internally. And if it's no problem at all (or a 1% decrease in performance) I'd rather put the GPU on the second one, so there is more room to jiggle so to speak...
Any help and advice will be taken into consideration!
