Battlefield 4 mantle problems with nvidia gpu

I recently upgraded from a radeon 7950 to a gtx 970 and the last time I played battlefield 4 I left the setting on mantle and the game won't startup on my 970 because mantle obviously isn't supported by nvidia cards. What can I do?

make a backup of the file first!

go to documents>battlefield>settings find PROFSAVE_profile open with notepad and change the mantle settings to 0

and make sure you choose to save as type "all files"
