EVGA GTX 980 Ti GPU - How should I monitor the temperature?

So I can't seem to find any service that nvidia has provided to monitor the temperature of my gpu while gaming. Is there a good/reliable program I should download to monitor the temperature? What is the temperature threshold where I should begin worrying about my gpu being too hot?

MSI Afterburner is the program I use, it gives you a graph with the minimum and max temp your card has hit since the program was started. You want to keep the card under 80/85 to keep the lifespan as high as possible.

The EVGA precision program has a lot of features I don't really want and/or could accidentally mess up my system with. I wanted something simpler to just monitor the temperature. I think the GPU-Z looks solid.

its poplar [gpu-z ] I use it like you I don't nee all that overclocking stuff . just the facts

also you can look at things like hwmonitor/hwinfo has all that info as well [I use it to ]
