Will this build run most games 1080p/30fps?

I've purchased these parts, for my youtube channel and video editing- bear in mind I play 80% retro/indie titles so I'm not going overboard. However, I'd just like to know whether the following build can run the AAA titles at 30-40fps in 1080p (medium settings)? I know the gtx 950 can do this pretty easily, but considering the whole build- is it up to the job? This is my first ever pc so I'm not breaking the bank.

Case - CORSAIR CARBIDE 200R COMPACT GAMING CASE

CPU- i5 Quad Core Processor i5-4690

Motherboard - ASUS® H81M-PLUS: Micro-ATX

RAM - 8GB Kingston DUAL-DDR3

GPU - 2GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 950

SSD - 120GB KINGSTON V300 SSD

HDD - 1TB 3.5" SATA-III 6GB/s

Corsair VS-450 POWER SUPPLY

Thanks!

Yeah I went with a lower gpu with a higher cpu purely for video editing/ live streaming purposes. There's not a huge difference between a 950/960 anyway- thanks :)

agree go with a lower end i5 and get a better gpu. Even ditch the SSD to get a better gpu. Its not the worst psu in the world, but probably wont last or support higher end vid cards. IF your looking at the low end of the spectrum, Antec's lower end psu's are better built than the corsairs as a budget option.

I've already purchased the parts so nothing I can do now- I play about 2 aaa titles a year- and that's casually. Really not looking for anything more than a 950- it'll do the job. My max wattage is around 350 so the 450 vs should be ok. As you said though it's not the best but it'll do!

ok, so you already bought the parts, so i dont understand why your asking for advice now? But to answer your initial question, yes, you should be able to play most games at 1080p at 30-40fps depending on the in-game detail settings you chose. The rest of your build is above the capabilities of the 950, so in future you would have to do would be to upgrade the gpu, but also the psu.

I'm building it myself now, cancelling the order. It's not as hard as it looks I hope!
