I'm planning on building my first PC soon and I just saw on the manufacture website of my motherboard that it supports
"four DDR3 1066/1333/1600/1866*/2000*/2133*/2200*/2400*/2600*/2666*/2800*/3000*/3100*/3200*/3300*(*OC) MHz DRAM, 32GB Max"
I bought the Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
My concern is that it states that there is compatibility for 1866Mhz only if it is over clocked.
Will my ramm still work with my MSI z97 gaming 5 motherboard?
