Hi. Today I installed Battlefield Bad Company 2 onto my new PC. I booted up the game expecting it to run perfectly, but I can never break 30FPS, even on minimum settings. I find this strange seeing as the minimum requirements ask for s GTX 260 and a Core 2 Quad Q6400. I have all of my drivers updated and have already verified the game's files through Steam. Anyone have an idea of what the problem is?I've listed my computer specifications down below.

  • EVGA GTX 750Ti SC Edition
    Pentium G3258 Overclocked to 3.5GHz
    4GB Kingston HyperX 1866MHz Memory
    MSI H61M-E34 Motherboard
WD Caviar Blue 1TB 7200RPM Hard Disk

Thanks for your time, and I hope someone can help me resolve this soon.

I got this game [full retail] and I seen that after you install the game and as you would go in to options to make changes that you normally would it affects the game [sometimes a lot ] cant recall all the details but just a simple thing like adjusting the brightness would screw things up and caused game play to suffer ??

it was a odd issue but that's where I seen making them changes in options hurt the game somewhat ?? don't know if they released a patch or not but that seemed where I found my issues lied

good luck

All other games work fine and my temps are perfect. I found it to be a problem with the screen resolution (for some reason I could only get good frames at my native resolution.), but thanks for the answer!

It's very weird. I've just given up on the game entirely for now.

I found the fix man. A friend on Facebook enlightened me on this video...
